Methodology and
Curriculum
Our School can offer
a wide range of courses,
which will help you improve your reading, writing,
listening and speaking skills as well as your
grammar. Our teachers use modern methods and
textbooks based on interesting topics as well as a
range of computer and video based materials. Our
courses are scheduled at times that are convenient
for you. If you have extra time you can study in
our social club where a member of staff will help
you to choose from a wide range of books,
multimedia CD-ROM’s, video and
audiocassettes.Testing
and Evaluation
Students are tested at the
beginning of each term and placed at a level
corresponding to their English language
proficiency. At the end of each course, they are
evaluated on their progress, and awarded
certificates.
Criteria in
Evaluating Students' Progress
At the end of each level oral
and written tests will be administered and only
students successfully accomplishing the term's
requirements and passing both of the tests will be
allowed to move on to the next core level.
Students failing core levels have a right to
appeal their final result, in which case they must
be re-tested by a different teacher. If a student
passes the appeal test she/he may sign up for the
next level, however, in this case the student is
not allowed to skip practice levels. If a student
does not pass the appeal test she/he has a choice
to repeat the same level, or take a break of one
semester and be re-tested again.
